Military Education
Kaplan University, with 58,000 online students, sought to establish its leadership serving enlisted military personnel and veterans with its undergraduate and graduate degree programs. On the heels of fee reductions for Kaplan’s military students, created an Opinion Editorial and letter to the editor program timed with Veteran’s Day to honor military service and promote educational needs and opportunities. Leveraged a faculty member who was a retired general to byline OpEd which ran in the McClatchy Tribune publications, and helped KU faculty place letters to the editor in target home market newspapers including Atlanta, Houston, New York.
