She has worked with prestigious marketing and communications partners like Procter & Gamble, J.D. Power and Associates, DHL, Frito Lay, Kaplan Higher Education, MasterCard, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and MGM Studios.

Throughout her career she has advised on crisis communications and issues management, engaging management teams to devise strategies for anticipating and responding to situations that can disrupt their operations and damage organization and executive reputations. Her crisis management work has involved multi-national corporations, and organizations in the cargo shipping and logistics, anti-terrorism, higher education, and disaster relief sectors. She has helped organizations navigate complex political issues at the federal, state and local levels.

For 10 years Cohen served as CEO of the nation’s most prominent youth empowerment and drug abuse prevention organization, "Just Say No" International. Under her leadership more than one million youth in 50 states and 12 countries participated in school and community-based state of the art programs, including its landmark program: YOUTH POWER.

As a civic leader Cohen has held numerous leadership positions with non-profits and professional associations addressing important issues, such as education and youth development, economic develop- ment and international trade, and senior health services. Her work was recognized by PENCIL with its 2009 Innovative Partnership Award for her collaboration with PS 247 to create the groundbreaking College Partnership Program™ for an elementary school in a low income community of Brooklyn. She brings extensive knowledge and contacts from her involvements with organizations such as University of California (Legislative Relations Committee), YouthBridge-New York, Bay Area World Trade Center, and UJA-Federation of New York.

Cohen holds a BA from University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Georgetown University.
